Our Mission: To improve individuals’ lives through health education, providing lasting and inexpensive solutions for disease reversal through self-care and healthy lifestyle support (taking into account that conventional medical evaluation may be needed).
Our Proposed Goals:
- Educate individuals to improve their health condition through learning the 3LS Wellness Program and other safe, natural means of health improvement and treatment
- Help and guide people who are uninsured and those who fall through the cracks of the health care system to find resources to help themselves
- Provide no cost wellness help, via Dr. Stoll’s website bulletin board
- Support the availability of 100% whole foods products everywhere
- Promote whole foods labeling on packages
- Educate practitioners to practice holistically and to guide their clients/patients towards natural health
- Other projects as we are able
Our short- and long-term outcomes are to help individuals’ lives through health education. Another long-term outcome is to create greater accessibility of healthy foods and other resources.
Our clients are people worldwide with chronic symptoms, pain, or illness who are seeking alternatives to drugs and surgery. Many have already benefited from Dr. Stoll’s website and books. The trend towards more chronic illness is growing, so there is a growing need for this project, both in the United States and abroad.
About the Foundation: The Stoll Foundation for Holistic Health was founded in 2008 by Jan DeCourtney, C.M.T., who recovered from a debilitating chronic illness by following guidance from Walt Stoll, M.D. to practice the 3LS Wellness Program and use other holistic healing methods. We follow Dr. Stoll’s teaching and guidance, and believe the combination of allopathic and alternative medicines is the health care of the future.
Our people: The Stoll Foundation is powered solely by volunteers, with Jan DeCourtney, C.M.T. serving as the managing director. See more about our people below.
Funding: The Stoll Foundation for Holistic Health relies solely upon public donations and our own fundraising efforts.
Cash donations are gratefully accepted. Donations may be made by check or credit card directly to the Foundation (see address and phone at bottom of this page). About Our People
Our volunteer staff is:
Walt Stoll, MD., Initiator and Medical Director: “I had 10 years of experience doing allopathic medicine and just prescribing pills, seeing as many patients as I could squeeze in, and making money. I had to cut my income by 75% in order to practice holistic medicine complementary to my conventional practice. It was mainly because I spent a lot more time with each patient trying to get them to understand how they could help themselves. During my last 20 years of really being a healer, I was the busiest physician in our small town so the change in income was not for a lack of patients.” After retirement, Dr. Stoll has continued spending time with people trying to get them to understand how to help themselves through his website bulletin board at www.askwaltstollmd.com and his books available at sunrisehealthcoach.com.
Jan DeCourtney, CMT, Founder and Managing Director: Read Jan’s story as published in the India Edition of Good Housekeeping Magazine.
Bill Stoll, Webmaster for www.askwaltstollmd.com. Bill works behind the scenes to keep Dr. Stoll’s website running well.
